A new proposed entry and exit plan for the Heritage zone
Above diagram is a proposed site plan for the Nalanda Ruins which includes two access points into the heritage zone. Tourist Vehicles will be parked at these two entry points and not allowed inside the heritage zone. This arrangement would take care of the buffer zone beyond the actual site required for proper conservation of the heritage and would provide ample opportunity for the tourism related enterprise to grow in the area. This would reduce the congestion of stalling vehicles and non polluting vehicles can be subscribed for transportation needs within the heritage zone. This will provide better opportunities to local people who own horse-carts and rickshaws.
