A Heritage zone for protection

The unexcavated mound needs preservation and best way is by paying it the respect it deserves. The Mound should be declared as Heritage zone with suitable do’s and don’ts framed with community participation. A multi cultural and inter religious heritage trail would be a good option to show off the intangible assets of the area with the addition of the physical sites. And as the trail weaves through various villages and cultural centers of the area, the possibilities of community involvement would grow multifold. Tourists who are interested in a closer interaction with the culture would lead to promotion of services like cultural events, musical gathering, meals at homes, local sports meets and home stays.
